Dr. Ian Fessler

Gillis Dental Professionals is pleased to have another trusted and reliable dentist near Wellesley as part of our team. Named a Top Dentist by Boston Magazine in 2020, 2022, and 2024, Dr. Fessler brings another level of expertise to our practice and patients.

After graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, he finished his residency at Harvard/Cambridge Health Alliance. With more than a decade of experience practicing in the Boston area, he also volunteers internationally, providing oral healthcare to individuals living in underserved communities.

With an approachable nature and compassion for helping others, he remains committed to ensuring the well-being of his patients each day.

Dr. Fessler is married to his wife, Nyesang, and they have a wonderful four-year-old son, Kalden. In his free time, he is an avid runner, competing in half Ironman competitions. He has also completed one full Ironman.

Dr. David Goldberg

If you’re looking for a periodontist near Wellesley, you’ve come to the right place. Dr. Goldberg was named a Top Dentist by Boston Magazine in 2022 and 2024.

Receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and achieving the status of Merit Scholar, he was a participatory member of the implant honors program and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. There, he won the Tufts Award for Excellence in Fixed Prosthodontics.

He later attended the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine to specialize in periodontology.

Dr. Maryanne Irwin

Dr. Irwin earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Boston College before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She then finished a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration in West Palm Beach, FL, before earning her specialty certificate in endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

She remains active in the field outside of her work at Gillis Dental Professionals, maintaining memberships in the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Association of Endodontists. She is also a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

When she’s not busy in the office, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and their two daughters as well as running and reading.

Dr. David Huh

As a dentist near Wellesley, Dr. Huh possesses more than 10 years of experience in the field. After earning his bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from MCPHS Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in 2017, he worked as a hygienist while completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

With a more comprehensive understanding of the different roles required to ensure a successful dental practice, he thoroughly enjoys being a part of the Gillis Dental Professionals team.
